Getting a new website designed for yourself or your business can be an expensive exercise. There are some hidden costs of a website that you need to be aware of! A website can cost anywhere from $2000 to $10,000 to be developed. But this is not the only cost. You must consider the following things.
Hosting Fees Web hosting is put simply a folder on a computer that is connected to the internet 24/7. Your website is placed on this computer and your domain name is directed to this computer. So when a user types in your internet address into the web browser your site can be view. I usuall describe it as somewhere on the internet to park your website. How much does hosting cost? Well at the current climate and market conditions it is not a very good time to go in the business of hosting websites. It is definately a buyers market. Usually for a basic site with 5-10 email address will cost you approx $299 - 400 per year.
